Kobe AttiasSVP of Engineering
Our SVP of Engineering, Kobe, is no newcomer in the startup scene. He comes to us directly from Rent the Runway where he was one of the first engineers. Prior to that, Kobe co-founded his own startup Shop Informed and also worked as a software engineer in different areas of the world including Amsterdam and Herzeliya, Israel. Kobe holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. In addition to being an engineer, Kobe is also an avid tennis player, Parkour practitioner and a volunteer programming teacher.
Elizabeth BrownChief Executive Officer
Elizabeth brings a wide range of e-commerce and early-stage operating experience to Viyet. Most recently, Elizabeth was an early team member at innovative e-retailer Poppin, where she was the Director of Corporate Development. Prior to Poppin, Elizabeth led business intelligence at luxury wine e-commerce site Lot18 after beginning her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse. Elizabeth holds a BA from Wofford College and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Elizabeth’s personal design style: Neutral tones, lots of texture, and a pop of her favorite shade of butter yellow.
Callie CastellaniManaging Curator, Washington, D.C.
Callie is our regional managing curator for the Washington, D.C. area. Drawing on her operations experience at Doo.Ri and Charlotte Brody, a luxury women's custom clothing line, Callie brings her creativity and dedication to the team every day. Callie received a BS from the University of Mary Washington and an AD from Parsons School of Design. Callie's personal design style: Modern with a mix of the unexpected.
Emily EverhartChief Curator
Emily comes to Viyet after cutting her teeth in the auction business, serving in myriad roles including decorative arts cataloguer and director of marketing at Cowan’s Auctions in Cincinnati, and as a manager in the digital marketing department at Sotheby’s in New York. Back in 2012 she managed the marketing for VIP Art Fair, one of the first art market startups to hit the scene. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Cincinnati, where she honed in on her passion for the decorative arts and design. Joining the Viyet team as Chief Curator is the perfect culmination of her keen knowledge of the art market, digital marketing, and startups. Emily’s design style: an eclectic mix of old and new—anything with clean lines and a good soul.
Camila HoriVP of Creative
Camila was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil where she earned her bachelors degree in Graphic Design. Prior to relocating to New York she worked in the art department of Vogue Brazil. Camila has vast experience in the digital environment where she has led the creative vision in a variety of companies (Ann Taylor LOFT , Brooks Brothers, and Bluefly.) Throughout her tenure at different companies Camila has effectively delivered on a number of improvements: from a pure metrics measurement to overall elevated aesthetic. Camila's design style: mid century modern.
Jennifer KoenVP of Business Development & PR
Jennifer comes to Viyet following two home renovations and after serving as Director of Innovation and Licensing at Godiva Chocolatier. Prior to Godiva, Jen worked in marketing for Coach and Movado Watch Group, where she was responsible for launching and growing new businesses. Jennifer received a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Jennifer’s personal design style: furniture that functions and has distinctive architectural elements.
Stephen MicioniJunior Designer
Stephen is a promising self taught graphic designer with a BA in Marketing, who used his free time at school to follow his passion in graphic design. Through his skills he has gotten several internships with leading New York City agencies, working on high level campaigns. His creativity derives from his love of the outdoors, especially the ocean and the mountains.
Annie NowellClient Service & Operations Manager
Annie joins Viyet after graduating with a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The daughter of retail furniture store owners in North Carolina, Annie grew up around design cultivating a love for the business. Prior to Viyet Annie interned in digital marketing for Barneys New York and worked as a design assistant with MA Allen Interiors.
Tamara RosenthalSVP of Marketing
Tamara is the SVP of Marketing for Viyet where she is responsible for overseeing the brand’s overall marketing strategy. She is a seasoned marketing executive with over 20 years of experience working for multichannel fashion retailers. Prior to joining Viyet, Tamara was the Vice President of Marketing at Fashion to Figure, a women’s plus size fashion retailer. Tamara has held senior marketing positions at ideel.com (later sold to Groupon), Lacoste USA and Ferragamo where she developed programs across both digital and traditional marketing channels. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Rachel, founder and owner of Rachel Rodin LLC, a personal styling business, went on to co-found Viyet with Louise Youngson-Klasfeld after they both dreamed of new furniture but needed to sell their existing pieces first. Organized, driven, and precise, Rachel graduated with a BA from Columbia College and received an MBA at Columbia Business School. Rachel’s personal design style: clean, clean, clean with a little bit of texture mixed in.
Dana SmithersBrand Ambassador
Dana joined Viyet with a strong background in customer service, merchandising and buying. Previously, Dana worked at L’Occitaine, BeautySage and Lifebooker with a specialty focus in beauty and e-commerce. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Dana is the perfect voice for Viyet, always putting our customers first and leading by example. Dana's personal design style: black and white, modern and chic with pops of color.
Louise, world traveler and lifelong design lover, hails originally from Scotland. Louise founded Viyet with the conviction that there is a home for every piece of fabulous pre-owned furniture. As Viyet's Chief Curator, Louise meets new people every day while on the hunt for exquisite, unique furniture and accessories. Louise’s favorite furniture item in her home: Ruby red transparent Kartell dining chairs!
Beth FelsenTrade & Showroom Consultant
As our trade and showroom consultant, Beth oversees collaborating with interior designers, showrooms and furniture brands along with working to expand Viyet to new major design markets. She brings more than 10 years of home retail, trade marketing, e-commerce and start-up experience to the Viyet team. Formerly positioned at Williams-Sonoma Inc., Burch Creative Capital and Serena & Lily, she has special insight into home retail e-commerce and the interior design industry.
Beth received a BS in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Beth's personal design style : mix of old and new, traditional and romantic design offset by modern with a beachy and bohemian vibe and a love for all things indigo.
Alyssa CardenProduction Manager
Alyssa Carden is a personable, upbeat, and detail oriented professional who has recently completed freelance assignments for Kate Spade New York and J.Crew. Prior to this, Alyssa worked in retail as an Assistant Store Manager at New York & Company. She received her Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts with a minor in Digital Communications from Rutgers University.
Sheldon MartinSoftware Engineer
Sheldon, a native New Yorker, graduated from Baruch College with a degree in Computer Information Systems. As a software engineer, he helps to keep our website running and develops tools to assist the other teams. He started his career as a data analyst, but later moved in to web development because of his love for programming. Previously, he worked at Fitch Ratings and Sirius XM. He practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and enjoys biking in his spare time.
Stefanie FeldmanAssociate Curator
Stefanie hails from Los Angeles and holds over 10 years of experience in the interior design world. After receiving a degree in Art History, she began her career in NYC working for a small interior design firm. Missing the California sunshine, Stefanie came back to the West Coast to work as a high end, luxury designer for the prestigious Michael Smith. Most recently, she served as the showroom manager at Harbinger, where she built relationships with artists and designers from all over the world. Inspired by her travels, Stefanie’s true passion lies in the art behind the product. Stefanie’s design style: Eclectic, involving bold colors, stimulating patterns, unexpected shapes, and anything with a little bit of history.
Jason SteinChief Curator and General Manager, West Coast
Jason comes to Viyet after spending the past 25 years in the auction world, with tenure at Paddle8, Bonhams, Christie's and Butterfield & Butterfield. He is a generalist appraiser in furniture and decorative arts and a specialist in 20th-Century Design. Jason's personal design style: all-inclusive Modernist.
